Israel says capturing two Hezbollah militants in Lebanon
font size

Israeli troops have captured two Hezbollah militants in an operation in southern Lebanon, the army said on Sunday.

The two were seized in the village of Maroun al-Ras, it said.

Over the past few days, Israeli troops and Hezbollah militants have traded heavy fire in the area, just across the border with Lebanon.

Israel has been fighting against Hezbollah since two soldiers were captured by the Lebanese Shiite group on July 12.
