font size

Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas left the West Bank city of Ramallah on Wednesday for Jordan to start his Arab-nations tour for talks with Arab leaders, Palestinian official sources said.

The sources with Abbas bureau said in a statement that Abbas convoy drove to Amman Airport of Jordan, from where he would set off to Algeria to hold talks with Algerian President Abdel Aziz Botafliqa.

The sources added that Abbas would then go to Saudi Arabia to meet with Saudi officials and would end up with a tour in several Gulf States.
