Two Palestinian militants were killed and 13 injured in an Israeli airstrike on al-Sha'af neighborhood northeast of Gaza City on Thursday, medics and witnesses said.
The witnesses said that the killed two militants are members of Saraya al-Quds, armed wing of Islamic Jihad (Holy War), and that three of the wounded are in critical conditions.
Israeli army continued its air and artillery strikes on Gaza on Thursday, killing an old Palestinian woman and wounding two others.
On Wednesday, 23 Palestinians, including at least nine militants, three children and a disabled man, were killed in the Israeli offensives in Gaza Strip.
About 160 Palestinians have been killed and more than 500 wounded since the beginning of the massive Israeli offensive in the Gaza Strip on June 28 in a bid to free a captive soldier and stop Palestinian rocket attacks.
