Voters from Seychelles' three major islands began casting their ballots Sunday morning to elect a leader for the Indian Ocean archipelago country.
The election, kicked off on the outer islands on Friday, came to islands Mahe, Praslin and La Digue which are homes to 98 percent of the country's 82,000 population.
Sunday is the last day of the election and the outcome will be announced at late night, Seychelles' electoral commissioner Hendrick Gappy has said.
Incumbent President James Michel, opposition leader Wavel Ramkalawan and independent candidate Philippe Boulle will compete for the top position of the country.
