Jordan sends aid convoy to Palestinians

The Jordan Hashemite Charity Organization sent Sunday an aid convoy to the Palestinian people, its secretary general Abdul Salam Abbadi said.

The convoy, which consists of 12 trucks comprising 750,000 package of milk, is the second batch of the donations presented by the Jordanian Ministry of Education and the Jordan Armed Forces to the Palestinian people, Abbadi said.

He said that 209 aid conveys, laden with various materials including medicines, medical supplies, generators and supplies for the handicapped, have been sent to the Palestinian territories so far.

In addition, the convoys have sent tents, blankets, foodstuffs, stationery and 35 newly-equipped ambulance cars to the Palestinian territories, he added.
