China to play Thailand in soccer international friendly

The Chinese men's Olympic team will play Thailand in a soccer friendly next month in China's port city of Qinhuangdao, Hebei province, the Chinese Football Association said here.

The match will take place on August 10, before which the Chinese under-23 squad will play an international match against their Japanese counterparts on August 7 in Qinhuangdao.

Qinhuangdao will host some soccer matches during the 2008 Olympic Games.
