The list of "China's most beautiful towns and villages", which were recommended by hundreds of Chinese local media and then decided upon by public votes, was published recently.

These Chinese places are Old Laitan Town in Hechuan County of Chongqing, Old Peitian Village of Fujian Province, Wu Town of Zhejiang Province, Royal Prime Minister's palace of Shanxi Province, Old Wuyuan Village in Shangrao of Jiangxi Province, Old Heshun Town of Yunnan Province, Zhuxian Town in Kaifeng of He'nan Province, Hong Village of Anhui Province, Old Guangfu Town of Jiangsu Province and Zhou Village of Jiangsu Province.
