At least one killed in rocket attack on Haifa

Israeli woman was killed and two critically wounded when two buildings in the northern Israeli port city of Haifa were directly hit by Hezbollah rockets on Sunday, according to Ha'aretz daily report.

Shortly after the siren, at least two explosions were heard in down town Haifa. Police and ambulances rushed to the scene, alarm whistles can be heard all around the city.

Meanwhile, several rockets landed in the sea of Haifa bay, but no casualties were reported.

Earlier in the day, at least 12 Israeli reservists were killed and four others seriously injured in Hezbollah rocket attack on Kfar Giladi, a community near the northern Israeli town of Kiyat Shemona.

The soldiers were killed when a rocket fired by the Hezbollah militia hit a gathering spot of the Israeli army.
