A bomb went off inside a building in an eastern Baghdad district followed by a car bomb explosion on Monday and initial reports showed that three policemen were wounded, an Iraqi Interior Ministry source told Xinhua.
An explosive charge detonated at around 12:20 p.m. (0812 GMT) inside an Internet Cafe near the Sakhrah Intersection in Palestine Street, the source said on condition of anonymity.
Minutes later, an explosive-packed car parking in front of the Cafe went off, causing heavy damages to the building and nearby shops, the source added.
"Initial reports said that three policemen were wounded, but the casualties might rise further as rescuers are evacuating other people wounded or killed in the attacks," the source said.
