Israeli warplanes destroyed two houses in the northern Gaza Strip town of Beit Hanoun early Thursday morning.
The owners of the houses received telephone calls from the Israeli army warning them to leave the buildings shortly before the air strike which caused no casualties.
The targeted houses belonged to Hussein Al Kafarna, an activist of the Islamic Jihad (holy War) movement, and Osama Abu Amsha, a member of the Fatah-affiliated Al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigades.
An Israeli army spokesman said the raids targeted weapons depots of the Islamic Jihad and the Al-Aqsa Brigades.
Israel has pressed on with an offensive launched on June 28 in the Gaza Strip to win the release of an abducted soldier and halt rocket attacks on Israel.
