Israeli army said on Saturday that an Israeli helicopter pranged in south Lebanon, four crew members were on board, the pan-Arab al-Jazeera satellite TV reported.
The fate of the four Israeli crew members were unknown.
The Israeli army has confirmed that a military helicopter was downed in south Lebanon without specifying the location, said the report.
Earlier, Lebanese Hezbollah claimed on its al-Manar TV that its guerrillas shot down an Israeli military helicopter in southern Lebanon.
The group said that the Israeli helicopter was shot down in the Maryamein valley by one of its new missiles named the "Waad".
