General secretary of Vietnamese Communist Party to visit China

General Secretary Nong Duc Manh of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam will pay an official good-will visit to China from Aug. 22-26.

Guo Yezhou, spokesman for the International Department of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China (CPC), made the announcement here Tuesday.

He will make the visit at the invitation of Hu Jintao, general secretary of the CPC Central Committee and Chinese president.
