Vietnam's Permanent Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Sinh Hung will pay an official visit to Cambodia from Aug. 21 to 23, the Cambodian Foreign Ministry announced on Friday.

During the visit, Nguyen Sinh Hung, who is visiting at the invitation of Cambodia's Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Hor Namhong, will be received in Royal Audience by King Norodom Sihamoni, and will pay courtesy calls on Senate President Chea Sim, acting-President of the National Assembly Nguon Nhel and Prime Minister Hun Sen, the statement said.

Nguyen Sinh Hung will also hold talks with Hor Namhong on issues of cooperation and investment between the two countries.

It is Nguyen's first visit to Cambodia since he assumed the post in June.
