The four world-renowned boxing organizations - The World Boxing Association (WBA), The World Boxing Council (WBC), The World Boxing Organization (WBO) and The International Boxing Federation (IBF) officially authorized The Beijing Oriental Dawn to promote boxing in China on Friday, Aug 18, 2006.

China didn't have a strong boxing tradition, but the potential market for boxing is comparatively compelling. And thereby hailed the four world famous boxing organizations'attention.

Professional boxing is a world-wide sport attracting thousands of eyes from every corner around the world. Such big names as Mike Tyson, Oscar De La Hoya and Muhammad Ali are all widely known by even the non-boxing fans.
