The Democratic Front for the Liberation of Palestine (DFLP) voiced on Tuesday its readiness to be involved in dialogue on joining a proposed Palestinian coalition government.
The DFLP, however, said that the coalition government should be based on the Prisoners' Document of National Accordance, formed under "a national harmony" and all parties have to take part in the government.
"It's important that the formation of the government be as a start to implement the articles of the Prisoners' Document, including the activation of the Palestinian Liberation Organization (PLO) and establishing a united resistance front," Saleh Zidan, member of the DFLP politburo told reporters.
He added that the coalition government would be "more capable to face the internal conditions and the continuing Israeli aggression."
Earlier report said that Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas was willing to form a technocrat government of independent Palestinians.
But Zidan considered that the technocrat government "would not be able to end the lack of security and would not be able to keep alive."
On Thursday, Abbas and Palestinian Prime Minister Ismail Haneya agreed on forming a national unity government to replace incumbent Hamas-led one in a bid to get out of the current economic and political crisis.
One day later, Haneya outlined three conditions for a coalition government. The conditions include the release of jailed Hamas ministers and lawmakers from Israeli prisons, ending international boycott against the Hamas government and nominating a prime minister from Hamas.
