Nepali Deputy PM leaves for China

Nepali Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Foreign Affairs K.P. Sharma Oli left for Lhasa, China Saturday for a week-long visit to China.

Talking to reporters at the airport in Kathmandu prior to his departure, Oli expressed his confidence that his visit will help further strengthen and promote the traditional friendly ties existing between Nepal and China.

Oli said that during his talks with high-level Chinese officials, discussions will be held on issues of mutual interests including that of regional and international interests. And an initiative will also be made to explore possible areas for possible Chinese investment.
