Aircrash occurs in U.S. Kentucky, 50 killedA Comair flight carrying 50 people crashed near Lexington's airport, Kentucky Sunday morning, killing all on board, the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) said. Comair Flight 191, a CRJ-100 regional jet with 47 passengers and three crew members, crashed shortly after taking off, FAA spokeswoman Kathleen Bergen said. Local television said the accident occurred just after 6:00 local time (1000 GMT), and emergency crews were on the scene. The plane was leaving Lexington's Blue Grass Airport, bound for Atlanta, when it went down in woods about a mile(1.6 kilometers) from the city's airport, the CNN television said.
