Fenerbahce soccer club of Turkey on Monday signed a four-year contract with Mateja Kezman, striker of Atletico Madrid of Spain, the semi-official Anatolia news agency reported.
"I am here to win a lot of trophies and score a lot of goals. I think with a coach like Zico, we have the capacity to win a lot," the 27-year-old Serbian striker said after the signing ceremony held in Istanbul.
Kezman joined Atletico Madrid from Chelsea in June 2005, scoring eight times in 30 Primera Liga appearances.
Meanwhile, French striker Nicolas Anelka signed a four-year contract with British Bolton Wanderers after the club agreed to pay nearly 15 million US dollars to Fenerbahce.
On its web-site, Fenerbahce club announced on Monday that Brazilian striker Deivid De Souza will come to Istanbul on Tuesday to sign for the club.
