Chinese Premier to attend China-EU Summit, ASEM, SCO P Ms Meeting, visits four nations

Chinese Premier Wen Jiabao will visit Finland, the United Kingdom, Germany and Tajikistan from Sept. 9 to 16 at the invitation of Finnish Prime Minister Matti Vanhanen, British Prime Minister Tony Blair, German Chancellor Angela Merkel and Tajikistan Prime Minister Akil Akilov, Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman Qin Gang announced Thursday.

According to Qin, Wen will also attend the ninth China-EU Summit and the sixth Asia-Europe Meeting (ASEM) to be held in Helsinki, capital of Finland, and the Fifth Meeting of Prime Ministers of the Member States of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) to be held in Tajikistan's capital of Dushanbe.
