At the invitation of Chinese president Hu Jintao, Luxembourg's Grand Duke Duc Henri arrived in Beijing on Sunday morning, starting a week-long state visit to China from Sept. 3 to 9.

During the visit, President Hu and Chinese Premier Wen Jiabao will meet with Grand Duke Henri and the two sides will exchange views on bilateral relations and regional and international issues of common concern, according to information from Chinese Foreign Ministry.

Besides Beijing, Grand Duke Henri will also visit Shandong Province in east China and the country's economic powerhouse Shanghai.
