Bangladesh Under-17 Football team suffered a 0-2 defeat against Vietnam in their inaugural final round match of the AFC (Asian Football Confederation) Under-17 Football Championship in Singapore Monday.

According to Bangladeshi local news agency UNB, Bangladesh played goal-less during the first half displaying a superb football but conceded the defeat as it failed to maintain the trend in the second half.

Bangladesh, which was placed in strong Group D, will play their second match against Syria on Sept.6 and the third and last group match against China on Sept. 8 at the same venue.
