Two people were killed and 24 others wounded when a car bomb went off in a southern Baghdad neighborhood on Tuesday, a well-informed police source said.
"A car bomb detonated near a gas factory in the Amil district ( in Baghdad), killing two people and wounding 24 others," the source told Xinhua on condition of anonymity.
Violence rages on in Iraq as car bombings and roadside bombs and assassination cause dozens of civilian casualties daily.
