China's hurdler Liu Xiang was upgraded to the first place at 110m hurdles after he took the silver in Athens World Cup in the latest rankings released by IAAF on Tuesday.
Liu came to top from the third place averaging 1,394 points from the IAAF series events followed by Dayron Robles with 1,387 points. United States hurdler Terrence Trammell trailed four points further to settle with the third.
The gold in Athens World Cup earned 35-year-old U.S. veteran Allen Johnson 1,428 points to boost him one place up to rank fourth.
Liu was strongly propelled by his gold in Stuttgart IAAF finals with 1,469 points, and his silver in Athens World Cup with 1,390 points to go up two places.
Liu's record-breaking result in Lausanne gained him his biggest mark this season by 1,490 points.
