Photo show on trade ties between China, Portuguese-speaking countries launched in Macao

A photo show was launched here Sunday to mark the opening of the Second Ministerial Conference of the Forum on Economic and Trade Cooperation between China and Portuguese-speaking Countries.

Some 100 photos were displayed at the show, which was co- sponsored by the secretariat of the forum, the Hong Kong branch of China's Xinhua News Agency and the Macao Media Workers' Association.

The photos were vivid description of the development of the cooperation between China and the Portuguese-speaking Countries, sources from the forum's secretariat said.

The organizers of the show also published a photo album titled "Combination of the Future and the History: Trade Cooperation between China and the Portuguese-speaking Countries."

Hua Jianmin, state councillor and general secretary of the State Council, Ho Hau Wah, chief executive of the Macao Special Administrative Region, government officials and entrepreneurs of the participating nations of the forum watched the photo show.

Those present at the show also included Chen Zuo'er, deputy director of the Hong and Macao Affairs Office of the State Council, and Xu Ze, deputy director of the Liaison Office of the Central People's Government in the Macao Special Administrative Region and hundreds of people from all social walks of Macao.
