China (hosts)

AFC: Australia, DPR Korea

UEFA: Norway, Sweden, Germany, Denmark

Notes:

Japan still have a chance to qualify as they will enter the play-off against the third-placed team from CONCACAF.

One more ticket will be dicided from one of UEFA's five groups.

CAF and CONMEBOL have two berths each, CONCACAF have two and a half spots, and OFC have one ticket for the 2007 China World Cup.
