President: DR Congo's electoral process on track
font size

Visiting President of the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) Joseph Kabila said Friday in Luanda that he has told Angolan leaders that the electoral process in DRC "is on track" and will take its normal course.

The second round of presidential election will be held on Oct. 29 as scheduled, he told his Angolan counterpart Jos Eduardo dos Santos during a 48-hour official visit.

Kabila told the press at Luanda's International Airport before departure for home that if he wins the election, he is ready to work with political forces interested in his country's development.
