Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh will discuss with European leaders nuclear cooperation and anti-terrorism during his visit to London and Helsinki, Indo-Asian News Service reported Saturday.
The Prime Minister will start his six-day visit from Monday, Indian Foreign Secretary Shiv Shankar Menon said here Saturday.
He will attend the third India-UK Summit meeting with his British counterpart Tony Blair in London on Oct. 10 and the 7th India-EU summit on Oct. 13 in Helsinki, capital of Finland.
Cooperation in counter-terrorism between security agencies would be a core issue in the dialogue between India and Britain, Menon said.
"This is a big part of our bilateral talks. We will certainly discuss all these issues including recent experiences. We will see what can be done to improve the situation," he said.
Singh will also discuss civilian nuclear cooperation with European countries, Menon said.
There has been no unanimous position in Europe on India's civil nuclear program but the mood about civil nuclear cooperation was sympathetic to India compared to about two years ago, he said.
In London, Manmohan Singh would also take part in the India-UK investment summit.
