Zimbabwe's travel media engage East Africa
font size

The Travel Media Network of Zimbabwe has extended to East Africa and engaged Tanzanian media practitioners who are expected in the country soon, the Sunday Mail reported.

The network is a media forum comprised of local media practitioners and stakeholders, specifically designed to promote media familiarization with the country's prime tourist sites.

A committee member of the network based in Tanzania said they had managed to engage the Tanzanian journalists with a view to embarking on a familiarization tour of the country soon as a part of a marketing campaign.

The Zimbabwean government has embarked on extensive campaigns. Last week, a delegation of Russian journalists came for a familiarization tour. The country has also hosted media practitioners from Malaysia, South Korea and France.
