Ukraine defense minister to visit Pakistan on Oct. 30

Defense Minister of Ukraine Anatoliy Grytsenko will visit Pakistan on Oct. 30, the Pakistani defense ministry said on Thursday.

Grytsenko's visit was discussed in a meeting between Pakistani Defense Minister Rao Sikandar Iqbal and Ambassador of Ukraine to Pakistan Dr. Igor Polikha, according to a defense ministry statement.

The Ukraine ambassador hoped that the visit would further boost bilateral cooperation between the two countries, it said.

They expressed the desire to further enhance and expand a meeting between bilateral cooperation between the two countries.

Both sides discussed various matters pertaining to the enhancement of mutual cooperation between the two countries in divergent fields particularly defense.

Iqbal told the Ukraine envoy that Pakistan desired to have meaningful and mutually beneficial defense cooperation with Ukraine.

He said that Pakistan already enjoyed excellent relations with Ukraine and wanted to further strengthen defense cooperation between the two countries.
