Marin Duna, the coach of Romanian soccer club National Bucharest, lost job on Monday after a string of poor results.
Duna became the seventh first division coach to step down after 12 rounds of the championship with National in 15th place in the standings, inside the four-team relegation zone.
"Duna left after the team lost 2-1 at home to Universitatea Craiova after a poor game on Saturday," National executive president Mihai Ionescu said.
Ionescu said the new coach will be former international Jean Vladoiu who will join the team at Focsani, where National play a Romanian Cup match against FCM Bacau on Tuesday.
