The annual China International BPO Conference, one of the most professional international conference in the field of software service outsourcing opens its third session in Xi' an, capital of northwest China's Shaanxi province on Oct. 26, 2006.

Officials from Ministry of Commerce, Ministry of Information Technology, Shaaxi provincial government and Xi'an municipal government as well as senior managerial staff from some 200 renown global and domestic enterprises such as IBM, HP, GE and Gartner take part in the two-day forum, exchanging latest ideas and exploring the great potential of business process outsourcing development in China

The software service outsourcing industry featuring computer science and network technology has heralded the arrival of a round of global economic pattern and offered unprecedented opportunities for developing countries. Xi'an, a host city for the forum of this kind in the past two years will doubtlessly become a centre in terms of software service outsourcing in China.

Compared with previous two sessions, the current one lays more emphasis on the market performance and market transactions, making the forum not only an academic meeting but also a platform for free flow of new ideas and new achievements.

Most of the participants unanimously believed that such a forum will boost the development of software service outsourcing, realise new economic growth pattern, attract more foreign investment as well as create more job opportunities.
