Burundian president kicks off China tour

Burundian President Pierre Nkurunziza arrived in Guangzhou, capital city of south China's Guangdong Province, on Monday evening, starting a ten-day visit to China.

Leading a 19-member delegation, Nkurunziza will stay in Guangdong for two days, with an aim to see local economic development. Besides Guangzhou, he will visit Shenzhen, an economic booming city in Guangdong.

Nkurunziza will stop over in Guiyang, capital city of southwest China's Guizhou Province, before heading for Beijing to attend the Beijing Summit of the Forum on the China-Africa Cooperation running from Nov. 4 to 5.
