Mountain Eagle, China's home-designed fighter-pilot training aircraft, performs at the Air Show China 2006, in Zhuhai, in Guangdong Province in south China on December 1. It can be used to train fighter pilots in peacetime, and as a fighter in wartime. Mass production is expected to start next year.Mountain Eagle was developed by the Guizhou Aviation Industry Group, a subsidiary of the Beijin-based China Aviation Industry Corp (AVICI).
