Sudan condemns Israeli practices in occupied territories
font size

Sudan expressed on Sunday its grave concern over the developments of situations in the occupied Palestinian territories, condemning the "brutal practices" by the Jewish state against the Palestinian people.

A statement issued by the Sudanese Foreign Ministry said that weapons which were banned by the international treaties were used by the Israeli troops to kill elderly people, women and children in the densely populated areas.

"The Israeli occupation authorities destroy mosques and houses and bulldozes agricultural lands along with its siege on Gaza strip since a long time," the statement added.

Criticizing the silence of the international society on the situation in Palestine, the statement said that "the stances, which give the Zionist entity the right to continue its barbaric aggression on the innocent Palestinian people under the pretext of self-defense, pose unjust support to this stark aggression, and encourage the Zionist enemy to commit more atrocities against the Palestinians".

It also urged the UN Security Council, the international community, human rights organizations and the peace-loving nations to move immediately to stop this inhuman practices being carried out in a daily manner by Israel against the steadfast Palestinians.
