An Egyptian suspect involved in the 2004 Madrid train terrorist bombings was sentenced to 10 years in prison by an Italian court on Monday.
The court in Milan convicted Rabei Osman Sayed Ahmed, 35, of connection with international terrorism, according to local media reports.
Another Egyptian, 23-year-old Yahya Mawad Mohamed Rajeh, was sentenced to five years in jail in the case.
Ahmed was arrested in Milan three months after the bombing attack on March 11, 2004, which killed 191 people.
