Egypt reports a 4.2 quake, leaving no casualtiesAn earthquake measuring 4.2 on the Richter scale jolted Egypt at 06:32 a.m. (0432 GMT) on Wednesday, the Egyptian Meteorology and Geophysics Institute said. The earthquake had its epicenter in a village of Beni Suef, some 160 km south of the Egyptian capital Cairo, the official news agency MENA reported. Some Cairo residents and its surroundings felt the quake, it said, adding that no casualties were reported.
