Two killed in Israeli airstrike in Gaza: al-Jazeera

Two Palestinians were killed when an Israeli warplane fired a missile into a car at Gaza City on Wednesday night, Qartar-based al-Jazeera TV channel reported.

Palestinian sources and medics confirmed the fresh airstrike, but gave different death toll.

Local medics said that a radical Islamic Jihad militant was killed in the strike east of Gaza City.

Another Palestinian security source said that the missile killed at least one Palestinian, adding that several others were wounded.

No immediate comment is availabe at the moment from the Israeli side.
