A British Muslim protester was found guilty on Thursday of instigating racial hatred during a Feb. 3 demonstration at the Danish Embassy in London against the publication of cartoons depicting the Prophet Mohammed.

Mizanur Rahman, a 23-year-old web designer from north London, had been filmed by police chanting "Bomb, bomb France, nuke, nuke France" and calling for the Mujahideen to massacre British and U.S. troops, Sky news reported Thursday afternoon.

Earlier, Rahman had been caught on camera carrying placards reading "Behead those who insult Islam" as he marched through central London.

Rahman was one of the leaders of the mass protest triggered by the publication of the cartoon in a Danish newspaper.

During the five-day trial, the Old Bailey jury could not reach a verdict on another charge of inciting murder.

Rahman has denied both charges and is remanded in custody while the case was adjourned till Monday.
