DPRK accuses Japan of adopting hostile policy against it
font size

The Democratic People's Republic of Korea(DPRK) on Monday accused Japan of adopting hostile policy against it.

In a signed commentary carried by the leading official newspaper Rodong Simun, DPRK described Japan as a "servant of the United States."

"The new Japanese government has only taken actions to bedevil the DPRK-Japan relations since its emergence", said the Rodong Sinmun.

"The desperate political provocations made by Japan against the DPRK to seriously infringe upon its sovereignty and dignity have touched off indignation among the Korean people," it added.

After the DPRK conducted a nuclear test early last month, Japan imposed sanctions on DPRK, including prohibiting its ships from using the Japanese ports and barring the entry of DPRK government officials into its territory.
