Dengue suspected cases rise to 5,235 in Pakistan

A total of 5,235 patients with signs and symptoms similar to dengue fever have been admitted to different hospitals across Pakistan till Tuesday evening, the Ministry of Health said.

According to the ministry, the patients declared positive for dengue virus now number 1,994.

So far a total of 48 deaths have occurred from dengue fever across the country, with 46 from Sindh province, one from North West Frontier Province and one from Islamabad.
