U.S. forces raided a hideout of a suspected insurgent linked to the "terrorist al-Qaida Organization in Iraq" in northeast of Baghdad early on Sunday, killing four suspects and detaining 11 others, the U.S. military said.
The four were killed in a gunbattle broke out when the U.S. forces arrived a house used as a hideout for insurgents near the restive city of Baquba, the military said in a statement.
U.S. forces apprehended 11 men in the house and seized weapons, including mortars, machine guns, rocket-propelled grenades and AK- 47 rifles, the statement said.
"One of the terrorists was hiding in a house dressed as a woman, pretending to nurse a baby," said the statement.
