U.S. President George W. Bush on Monday night arrived at Tallinn Ulemiste Airport, starting his visit to Estonia.
Bush is the first serving U.S. president to visit this Baltic nation. His brief stopover in Estonia was widely seen as a token of American gratitude for Estonia's unwavering support in the war on terror.
On Tuesday, Bush will meet with Estonian President Toomas Ilves and Prime Minister Andrus Ansip.
Bush will wrap up the lightening visit and fly to Riga on Tuesday afternoon, where he will be met by Latvian President Vaira Vike-Freiberga.
On Tuesday night, Bush will attend the NATO summit, where he will meet with leaders from other member states of the 26-member military alliance.
