font size

President of the All-China Federation of Trade Unions Wang Zhaoguo met with Takagi Tsuyoshi, chairman of the Japanese Trade Unions Confederation (JTUC) in Beijing on Tuesday. The two pledged to strengthen trade union cooperation.

"Such cooperation is an important part of bilateral friendly relations," said Wang, who is also a member of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China.

The cooperation between trade unions will play an active role in promoting bilateral friendly relationship, he said.

Takagi said Japan and China are close neighbors separated by only a strip of water, and the two sides should strengthen trade union cooperation for the happiness of the working people in the two countries.

Takagi had visited China in February this year.
