Indonesia sends humanitarian aid to typhoon victims in Philippines

Indonesia on Monday sent about 30 tons of humanitarian package to the victims of the Durian typhoon in the Philippines, where at least 1,000 people were killed.

A Hercules C-130 plane took off from the Halim Perdanakusuma Airport here carrying medicine, foodstuff and clothes.

State Minister for Social Affairs Bachtiar Chamsyah saw off the team who transported the relief materials to the neighbor.
