China donates modern printing machines to Zambia

China on Monday donated to the Zambian government modern printing machines worth of 1.3 million U. S. dollars.

Chinese ambassador Li Baodong and Zambian Minister of Works and Supply Kapembwa Simbao signed the handover document.

The equipment consists of three rotary printing press, one washing unit, one plate making machine, one cutter and one sewer.

At the handover ceremony Simbao thanked the Chinese government for its assistance in various fields to his country.

He said the printing machines can do all types of printing works and told all Zambian government ministries to come to the government printers when they need printing.
