Unknown gunmen attacked a minivan carrying employees of a Shiite organization in northern Baghdad neighborhood on Tuesday, killing 14 people, an Interior Ministry source said.
"Gunmen ambushed a mini-van carrying employees of the Shiite Endowment office on a road junction in Adhamiyah neighborhood and opened fire, killing 14 employees and wounding four others," the source told Xinhua on condition of anonymity.
Violence sweeps Iraqi cities as insurgent attacks, sectarian killings, car bombings, roadside bombs claim dozens of Iraqi lives daily.
