font size

Vietnamese Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung will pay official visits to Cambodia, Laos and Thailand from Dec. 18-21, announced a local spokesman Thursday.

The prime minister is scheduled to visit Cambodia from Dec. 18- 19, Laos from Dec. 19-20, and Thailand from Dec. 20-21, Foreign Ministry spokesman Le Dung said at a regular press briefing.

The visits of the newly-installed prime minister, under a practice of members of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN), shows that Vietnam attaches importance to the friendly ties and multi-faceted cooperation with neighbor countries, he stated.

During the visits, the prime minister is scheduled to hold talks with his counterparts from Cambodia, Laos and Thailand, and meet with other top leaders from the three countries.
