The death toll in a car bombing attack in a mainly Shi'ite district of Baghdad on Monday rose to at least 10 people with some 15 wounded, police said.
Earlier, a well-informed police source told Xinhua that at least four people were killed and seven others wounded by the car bomb at a busy area in southeastern Baghdad on Monday.
"A booby-trap car went off at busy parking-lot in Baghdad al- Jadida neighborhood, killing at least four people and wounding seven others," the source said on condition of anonymity.
In separate incident, a suicide bomber wearing an explosive belt blew himself up inside a minibus in Baghdad's eastern neighborhood of Talbiyah, killing two people and wounding up to 20 others, raising the number of wounded people from seven, according to local police.
