Indonesian President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono Wednesday ordered the national disaster mitigation agency to continue the search and rescue of the estimated 205 people missing in the flood and landslide that hit Aceh since Thursday.
"The president told us to continue searching people missing in the disaster," the agency's head Syamsul Maarif told reporters after meeting Susilo here.
The flood and landslide have killed at least 70 people and displaced more than 44,000 others.
Syamsul said the government sends five tons of food supplies, including baby formula, biscuits and milk, as well as seven tons of tents, blankets and other relief supplies.
The military has deployed two helicopters to help the rescue team, he added.
