Five crew are missing and nine have been rescued after a fishing boat sank at sea near Shanghai's Donghai sea bridge on Friday.

The Ministry of Communications has dispatched two rescue vessels and a helicopter to assist in the search.

The boat with 14 people aboard came from Zhejiang province.

The search and rescue operation is continuing.
